MONO-FADE QUILT
The design was inspired by the traditional Turkish wool duvets and the British quilt. The red colour is the national colour of both countries (Turkey and England). One symbolises bravery, and for the other culture, symbolises power.
Thus, on the blankets, the colour red dis- solves from the middle to the edge, almost as if the two cultures neutralise one an- other. The blanket is a symbol for being surrounded by/part of these two cultures and how they would come together in one personality.
