This chair collection, “Play Theory”, reimagines the world through a child’s lens: bold, direct, and emotionally uninhibited. With a form that flirts with the naive, these chairs sit somewhere between sculpture and furniture—an invitation to remember how we used to move through the world before refinement took over.
The checkered cushion pattern references classic toys, board games, and schoolroom floors. It brings a sense of rhythm and order to an otherwise impulsive design. Red evokes the raw energy of childhood: curious, chaotic, alive. Black, on the other hand, brings gravity—a quiet nod to the shadow of growing up.
